The price refers solely to the energy component, which for a typical customer with:
- 10 kW power capacity;
- an annual consumption of 10,000 kWh
It accounts for about 30% of the total cost of the electricity (VAT and taxes excluded).
The price does not include dispatching, transportation and marketing charges, which Enel Energia applies in the amounts established by the Authority for Electricity, Gas and the Water System. With regard to dispatching costs, these are divided into:
- Sites charged by the hour or with dual-rate tariffs
A dual-rate tariff is applied, divided into peaks hours, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Friday, and off-peak hours, from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am Monday to Friday and throughout the entire weekend.
- Sites without hourly rates or dual-rate tariffs
A single-rate tariff is applied.
The dual-rate tariff is also applied if the billing of the sites is changed from single-rate to hourly or dual-rate over the course of the two years, starting from the period to which the different consumption measurements refer.
The price does not include charges for marketing and any charges related to incentives for renewable sources, if, by law, these are charged to the supplier.
