You can join Scegli Tu if you switch from another supplier, if you need to activate a new account (first activation), reactivate a deactivated account (takeover) or if you want to put your name on a contract made out to another person (transfer).

Switching to Scegli Tu from another supplier is very simple. All you need to know is that:

• activation is free;
• there's no need to work on the systems or meter;
• the change will be effective in about 2/3 months, which is the time needed for the inspections required by current legislation.

To request Scegli Tu you only need:

• a utility bill;
• your tax code;
• your IBAN, if you want to debit the bill to your bank account.

You can choose how to receive your bill: via email for free or paper bill.

With Bolletta Web you’ll receive your bills via email, so you can make your contribution to the environment by reducing paper waste.

The bills are issued in reference to a two-month period of consumption, except for the first bill which will reference only one month of consumption. Bills for power used above 15kW are issued on a monthly basis.

Choose how to pay your bill. You can change your payment method whenever you want.

• Postal giro and credit card
  If you select payment by postal giro when applying, you can also pay individual bills by credit card through our Customer Area, or from any authorised Sisal and Lottomatica outlets. 
• Direct debit from bank or postal account
  The bill arrives about 15 days before the due date so that you can verify it. The debit date is the same as the due date for the bill. 
• PayPal
  You can pay your bill easily and securely through PayPal directly from the Enel Energia Customers' Area. The payment can be made at any time from your computer, smartphone or tablet. Your details are safely protected by the PayPal server and are not shared with third parties.

The bill arrives about 15 days before the due date so that you can verify it. You can only pay by direct debit from your current account. The debit date is the same as the due date for the bill.

You can request a change of rate plan via the following methods: the customer area, the toll free number 800 900 860 or at the Enel Points. The change of plan can be requested starting from the supply activation date and for each contractual year, up to a maximum of 3 times over the following 10 months. The offer will be valid and constant for 12 months starting from the supply activation date, regardless of the date the change of plan was requested.

The fixed price is for the energy component and accounts for about 48% of the overall cost of the electricity (excluding VAT and taxes) for a family with:

• 3 kW power capacity;
• 2700 kWh annual consumption.

This price does not include charges for dispatching, transportation and marketing (including the A3 component covering the costs for promoting the generation of electricity from renewable and assimilated sources). The dispatching and transport costs are applied by the company in the measure defined by the Authority for Electricity, Gas and the Water System.

The price related to marketing, however, is fixed and is currently €2.50 per month.

Various services are available for receiving and sending SMS messages, through which we will inform you:

• when your bill is issued;
• when the due date is near;
• if your last bill has been successfully paid;
• when to send us your meter reading.

The SMS messages you receive are free.

You can also submit your meter reading and request:

• updates on the processing of your contract;
• information on your nearest Enel store;
• for your bills to be sent via email;
• changes to your personal data (email address, phone number, address).

The cost of the SMS messages sent varies according to your tariff plan.

The security deposit is calculated based on the power of your meter:

• €7.74 for 1.5 kW meters
• €15.48 for 3 kW meters
• €23.22 for 4.5 kW meters
• €30.96 for 6 kW meters

The deposit is refunded in the final bill, in the event of termination, plus interest at the statutory rate.

You can terminate your Enel Energia contract at any time for free by registered post or certified e-mail. You can also cancel your request for activation by the supplier by registered mail, at no cost, within 14 days from the conclusion of the contract.
