Enel Lumiè: the simulator to calculate your domestic energy consumption
Enel Lumiè: the simulator to calculate your domestic energy consumption
Enel Energia presents Enel Lumiè, the new simulator designed to help households carry out an energy check-up of their home in a fun, simple way. Using this new tool, it is possible to find out how to reduce energy bills through the most suitable efficiency measures for the type of home and the people who live there. Starting with the completion of a short customised questionnaire and the reading of energy bills, Enel Lumiè provides you with an integrated savings solution for your home, using a calculation model validated by Bureau Veritas.
In this way, free of charge and in less than 10 minutes, you can get a full report of your overall expenditure for all energy uses (power and gas, but also LPG, pellets and wood), as well as of the ways to reduce it by replacing appliances and installations and/or introducing solar energy solutions. Enel Lumiè can also inform you about intervention costs and their cost recovery time, calculated on the basis of lower post-intervention bill costs. Find out all the details.
How Enel Lumiè works
Enel Lumiè is a free digital simulator available both on the dedicated Enel Energia portal - where you can access the simulation independently - and at Enel stores, where an Enel consultant will guide you through your energy check-up. Enel Lumiè is designed to offer a comprehensive analysis of domestic energy consumption, proposing tailor-made savings solutions.
To obtain a report on your home, you will be asked to do two things:
Complete a customised questionnaire, including some data on your home, the energy sources you use and your consumption: this information allows Enel Lumiè to identify your consumption profile.
Present energy bills (Power and Gas), which can be digitally uploaded to the dedicated online portal or taken to the consultants in one of the Enel stores. If you do not have energy bills at hand, you can upload the data manually.
All the information you provide to Enel Lumiè will be used exclusively for this simulation.
And what does Enel Lumiè do next? Let's look at all the stages in its operation.
1. It reads the energy bills submitted by the user;
2. It analyses the energy efficiency of the home using innovative software to identify areas of intervention to reduce energy consumption;
3. It identifies problem areas that affect energy consumption, such as non-optimised installations or the use of obsolete equipment;
4. It estimates the possible savings in consumption through a calculation model certified by Bureau Veritas, a world leader in inspection, conformity verification and certification services;
5. It then draws up a detailed report indicating specific actions, such as the installation of high-efficiency devices and appliances, to reduce consumption and save on bills.
