What exactly does the offer include and how can I subscribe?

The Enel Drive offer includes:

  • a long-term rental contract starting from 24 months with Arval Service Lease Italia S.p.A. for a new electric car, with 100,000 kilometres of mileage included in the rental fee to guarantee you worry-free mobility, or a used car with customisable mileage.
  • a Power offer by Enel Energia; based on the characteristics of your meter, you can choose from the following recommended Power offers or other offers by Enel Energia: 
    • Enel Drive Fix Power (can only be activated with a 2G meter)
    • Enel Day Free (can only be activated with a 2G meter)
    • Enel Super Power
    • Enel Flex Box (can be activated on a meter different from the one in the home)

    • With the Enel Drive Fix Power offer, a Waybox home charging station is included on free loan for use, with installation within 10 metres subject to a positive outcome of the site survey (any additional works are at the customer's expense). If the quote is not accepted within 2 months, the free loan for use contract for the Waybox will automatically terminate. Alternatively, Enel Energia customers can purchase the Waybox from dedicated offers on https://www.enel.it/

 

What is included in the long-term rental?

The services included in the long-term rental are:

  • Routine and extraordinary maintenance;
  • Third-party liability insurance coverage and, upon request, driver injury cover, limitation of liability for fire, theft and additional damage, and assistance in managing administrative procedures;
  • 24/7 assistance and prompt roadside assistance, continuous telephone support during claims and replacement vehicle (available upon request);
  • Arval used car collection, with free valuation of your car within 48 hours and home collection of your used vehicle;
  • For new vehicles only, 100,000 kilometres of mileage included.

Can I customise the down payment, duration and vehicles included in the offer?

Yes, of course, after leaving your contact details, when you are contacted by Arval, you will be able to configure the rental duration (from a minimum of 24 months up to a maximum of 60 months for new cars, and up to a maximum of 36 months for used cars), the down payment and the vehicle as you prefer, also choosing from many other vehicles not published on the website https://www.enel.it/it-it/mobilita-elettrica/enel-drive.

What condition are the used rental cars in?

All the used vehicles offered undergo thorough check-ups at authorised workshops before being made available for rental. Each car is carefully inspected and, if necessary, refurbished to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. At the end of the checks, the vehicles are fitted with new tyres. For each vehicle, the complete maintenance history is available, also accessible within the vehicle sheet on the Arval Autoselect platform, certifying compliance with the scheduled maintenance programme. In addition, for BEV and PHEV cars it is possible to obtain the battery certificate, which certifies its condition and performance.

What happens if I terminate the car rental contract early?

In the event of early termination of the contract, different penalties apply depending on the type of vehicle and customer:

  • New vehicles:
    • Pre-orders before vehicle registration: a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the vehicle value + optional extras applies.
    • Pre-orders after vehicle registration: a penalty equal to 35% of the remaining fees + the fee for the month of return applies.
  • Used vehicles: with 30 days' notice, a penalty of 5 fees if the request is made within the 18th month or 2 fees if after the 18th month.

What is required to install the Waybox? And what happens if the Power meter in my garage is different from the one in my home?

To install a Waybox, you must have a private parking space available for your car (for example a box, garage or parking space). The company appointed by Enel Energia will then verify the technical feasibility of the installation during the site survey phase. 

The delivery and installation of the Waybox will be carried out at the address indicated by the Customer in the supply contract.

What is the Waybox home charging station for and how does it work?

The Waybox is an essential device for charging the electric car, designed to offer a safe and efficient home charging point, ensuring faster charging times compared to a standard domestic socket. Once installed, you will be able to manage charging through the Enel On Your Way App: after registration, you can connect directly to your Waybox in just a few simple steps. The app allows you to manage, monitor and schedule home charging, as well as check energy consumption.

To start charging, simply connect the Waybox cable to your vehicle, while to stop it you just need to disconnect it. The Waybox also offers advanced features, such as smart charging management, making the entire process simple and safe.

How much does it cost to increase the Power meter capacity?

Thanks to Resolution 541/2020/R/EEL by Arera, from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2027 it will be possible to charge your electric vehicle with an available power of approximately 6 kW, at night, on Sundays and on other public holidays, without having to request a power increase from your electricity supplier, therefore without incurring additional fixed costs due to the increase in power. Customers interested in participating in the trial will be able to submit their request online from 12 February 2025 to 30 June 2026. Vehicles under leasing or rental contracts registered to third parties are also eligible. The request must be submitted online through the “Customer Area” portal of GSE, also accessible with SPID.

How can I check if my meter is a 2G meter?

You can check whether your meter is eligible to subscribe to the Enel Drive Fix Power or Virtual Solar offer by accessing the consumption portal and following these steps:

a)     Access with SPID or CIE

Once the portal website is open, log in using one of the available methods, namely SPID or CIE.

b)     Select the supply

The consumption portal lists all the utilities registered in your name. Select the electricity supply corresponding to the meter you wish to check.

c)     Is your meter 2G?

Check that under “2G meter status” it is indicated as FULLY CONFIGURABLE.

d)     Is your meter operational?

Click on “View Consumption” and check that measurements are present in the section relating to daily data.
