Starting in July, the Enel bill is getting a makeover in line with ARERA Resolution 315/24, making the bill’s items clearer and easier to understand. You’ll have an even better grasp of exactly what you’re paying for, item by item!
What’s new:
- A simplified first page with all the essential information at your fingertips.
- A second page introducing two major updates: the "Scontrino dell'energia" showing the breakdown of costs, and the "Box Offerta" with details of your active power or gas offer.
- From the third page onward, the essential elements including technical characteristics of the supply and details about meter readings.
These changes are designed to offer you greater clarity and convenience in managing your power and gas services. Let’s explore all the details together.
On the first page, everything you need to know
The first page of your new Enel bill will feature a simple cover page containing the mandatory data required by ARERA, essential information so you immediately know how much you’re spending on your energy costs, and the benefits dedicated to you.
Specifically, for a domestic customer:
- In the box “Quanto pago per questa bolletta?” you will easily recognize the items that make up the total amount due, namely: the total energy cost related to the consumption billed (including any social bonus if you’re eligible), any additional services, and the RAI license fee.
- In the bottom right section, the amounts of bonuses and discounts applied to the specific bill and linked to the chosen offers are prominently displayed, along with all the latest updates related to the ENELtiPREMIA loyalty program.
Also, for a business customer:
- In the box “Importo da pagare,” the energy cost related to the billed consumption shown beside it is immediately recognizable.
- In the bottom section, our services and tailored offers for businesses are prominently displayed.
On the second page, the "Scontrino dell'energia" and the "Box Offerta": maximum clarity on energy costs
Two new sections on the second page facilitate an intuitive and immediate reading of both the cost items that make up the total amount due and the detailed information regarding the active power/gas offer.
Specifically,
- in the “Scontrino dell’energia” you will find a detailed breakdown of your expenses, item by item: variable and fixed costs, separated into costs dependent on Enel Energia for the sale of energy, and costs not dependent on Enel Energia, for the network and system charges. On the following pages, you can also see how much you pay solely for system charges. If you are eligible for the social bonus, you will find an entry with the recognized amount (domestic customers only).
- in the “Box dell’offerta” the characteristics of the subscribed offer are reported, along with validity dates and the calculation methods of the price components.
The link and QR Code at the bottom allow you to view a summary of the amounts by accessing your Customer Area.
On the third page: essential elements, a new layout to discover
The new Enel bill concludes with the final section dedicated to essential elements, containing ARERA communications and further detailed information about the billed amounts.
Designed to offer you an even clearer, more immediate, and comprehensive view of your supply, this section is divided into thematic boxes to help you quickly find what you need (data on readings, consumption, adjustments, etc.).
