What does my energy bill consist of?

The above-mentioned price referring to the energy component represents approximately 35% of the total electricity cost (excluding VAT and taxes) for a typical domestic resident customer with:

  • 3 kW of committed power

  • Annual consumption of 2,000 kWh

For more details, consult the cost breakdown percentages on the bill.

In addition, the customer is required to pay the marketing and sales fee (CCV Power) equal to €114/POD/year, excluding VAT and taxes, to be paid monthly.

The remaining cost components—including the dispatching fee, the charge covering the net capacity procurement cost, an imbalance component equal to 2% of the National Single Price (PUN), the low-voltage dispatching component (DISP BT), transport and meter management service costs, system charges, and network losses—are applied as defined, published, and periodically updated by ARERA and as indicated in the Technical and Economic Conditions of the offer (CTE).
At the end of the validity period of the aforementioned fees, Enel Energia may notify the new applicable values. This communication will be sent in accordance with the methods and timing set out in Article 7.2 of the General Terms and Conditions (CGF).

How is the security deposit calculated?

The security deposit, which will be refunded in your final settlement bill, is calculated based on the power capacity of your meter. Specifically, a unit amount of €5.16/kW will be applied.

For more information, consult the PDF on the amounts charged as a security deposit.

If you terminate the contract, the refund of the deposit will include the applicable legal interest rate.

How does withdrawal from Enel Energia work?

You can withdraw from your contract with Enel Energia at any time and without any charge by choosing a new Supplier, who will complete the withdrawal process on your behalf and in your name, in accordance with the procedures laid down by the regulations in force. For more information, see the PDF for the "General Terms and Conditions of Supply".

What is the cooling-off period and how does it work?

You can exercise your right to change your mind, prior to contract activation without giving reasons and without any additional charges, up to fourteen days after conclusion of the contract. This period is extended to thirty days for contracts concluded through agents or agencies.

To request the application of the right to change your mind, send the relevant form, which you will find attached to the contract, to one of our contact channels. For energy and/or gas supply only, you can do this through a simple recorded telephone call to our toll-free number 800 900 860.

If, when signing the contract, you choose early activation of the supply, the activation time may be reduced and it will no longer be possible to exercise the right to change your mind once the relevant supply has commenced or once the new conditions of the new contract have been applied (in the case of a product change with Enel Energia).

Important: In the event of a product change, the right to change your mind can only be applied in writing.
