  • there are no activation costs for the offer;

  • no work is required on your systems or meter;

  • the switch will take place no later than the first day of the third month following the contract conclusion.

To request Enel Vera Luce, you only need:

  • a utility bill;

  • your tax code.

Bolletta Web or paper bill?

You can subscribe to the offer only through the Bolletta Web service, receiving your bills in digital format directly in your email inbox. This way, you contribute to the environment by reducing paper usage.

The summary bill is issued on a monthly basis.

How do you want to pay your bill?

Direct Debit

Direct debit is the fastest way to keep your payments under control.

You receive the bill 15 days before the due date to check that the amount is correct, and payment is made automatically on the due date.

The real advantage is that you don’t pay a security deposit. In addition, your previous supplier will refund the old deposit if you had paid one.

You avoid queues at service counters and don’t need to remember due dates.

For more details, please consult the dedicated payment methods section on our website.

What does the fixed monthly fee consist of?

The fixed monthly fee includes all cost components as outlined below:

1) Energy Cost includes:

  • the energy component price equal to €0.099/kWh (including network losses) for all subscription plans within the predetermined threshold;

  • the CCV electricity fee, which varies depending on the chosen subscription plan:
    XS €194/POD/year, S €216/POD/year, M €228/POD/year, L €240/POD/year, XL €290/POD/year;

  • the dispatching fee as defined by art. 24.2 of Annex A of Resolution 539/2024 - Integrated Text on Electricity Dispatching (TIDE) and as updated by TERNA and ARERA. For fee calculation purposes, a value of €0.00988/kWh (for Q1), including network losses, was used;

  • the fee covering the net procurement cost of capacity as defined by art. 23 bis of the TIS and valued according to art. 34.8 of the Integrated Text of provisions for the provision of last resort electricity sales services (TIV), annexed to ARERA Resolution no. 362/2023/R/eel. For fee calculation purposes, a value of €0.00440/kWh (for March 2025), including network losses, was used;

  • the imbalance component equal to 2% of the index (PUN index GME defined monthly, corresponding to the monthly arithmetic averages of the PUN index GME values, expressed in Euro/kWh, as determined by the Energy Markets Operator (GME) and published on the GME website, increased by the network losses as defined by ARERA). The highest arithmetic average of the unit amounts during the twelve actual months from February 2024 to January 2025 was reached in January 2025, with a unit value (excluding network losses) of €0.14303/kWh. For fee calculation purposes, a value of €0.003199/kWh (for February), including network losses, was used;

  • the low voltage dispatching component (DISP BT) equal to €1.32/POD/year (as defined by ARERA and listed in Annex A of the TIV).

Network losses, applied to the above fees, are defined by ARERA and currently equal to 10% of consumption.

2) Transport and Metering Service Cost and System Charges
(according to ARERA Resolution no. 568/2019/R/eel and subsequent amendments – Integrated Text of provisions for the provision of electricity transmission and distribution services (TIT), and ARERA Resolution no. 481/2017/R/eel and subsequent amendments).
These consist of the fees incurred by Enel Energia for the transport, distribution, and metering services, and of system charges as defined and updated by ARERA, including the Asos component (used to fund the incentive system for electricity production from renewable sources and cogeneration, and charged to all electricity customers).

For fee calculation purposes, the following values were considered:
a) Transport and metering service cost: €0.01352/kWh; €22.80/POD/year; €25.2788/kW/year (Q1 values);
b) System charges: €0.032188/kWh (Q1 value).

All prices and fees listed in points 1) and 2) are excluding VAT and taxes.

3) VAT and Taxes, also available on enel.it.

The following items are not included in the fixed monthly fee (but will be clearly indicated in the invoice): optional charges, automatic compensations, Cmor (default fee), RAI fee, late payment interest, any Social Bonus the Customer is entitled to, and other bonuses and/or extra discounts.

In case of activation mid-month, the monthly fee of the selected subscription plan will still apply for the first month of supply.

For more details, refer to the expense breakdown percentages in the bill.

How do I know if I respect the consumption threshold of my plan?

Each month, you’ll be able to check your cumulative consumption up to the billing period directly on your bill and verify any deviations from the annual consumption threshold set by your plan. If you notice that you're close to exceeding the threshold—or have already exceeded it—you can always request a plan size change by contacting Customer Service or visiting the nearest Spazio Enel store.

What happens if I consume more or less than my planned consumption?

At the end of each contractual year, an adjustment will be made based on actual consumption. In the twelfth bill, you will be charged or credited the amounts corresponding to any consumption above or below the annual threshold set by your subscription plan. The adjustment amounts will be calculated based on:

  • the values of the components periodically updated by ARERA;

  • the value of the balancing component updated on a monthly basis;

  • an energy component value (including network losses):
    (i) €0.099/kWh for consumption below the threshold set by your subscribed plan, and
    (ii) €0.159/kWh for consumption exceeding the plan’s threshold.
    All amounts are excluding VAT and taxes.

If annual consumption exceeds the set threshold, Enel Energia reserves the right to spread the charge for the excess over multiple bills during the following contractual year, as detailed below:

  • amounts up to €30 will be charged entirely in the 12th-month bill;

  • for amounts between €30 and €60, the first €30 will be charged in the 12th bill and the remainder in the 13th;

  • for amounts between €60 and €90, €30 will be charged in the 12th bill and the remainder equally split between the 13th and 14th;

  • for amounts over €90, €30 will be charged in the 12th bill and the remaining amount will be distributed equally over the following five bills, up to the 17th.

The adjustment will also be applied in case of withdrawal, termination of supply, or offer change (recontracting), and it will be calculated based on a recalculated annual consumption threshold according to a pro-rata (pro-die) logic:
New consumption threshold = plan’s annual consumption threshold / 365 × number of days of supply.
The resulting amounts will be charged or credited to the customer in a single amount in the final bill.

Can I change my plan?

You may request to change your Subscription Plan with Enel Energia at any time. In this case, the monthly fee and the annual consumption threshold associated with the newly selected plan will apply. The request can be submitted to Enel Energia through the company’s Customer Service or by visiting one of the nearest Spazio Enel stores.

The new subscription plan will apply:

  • from the activation date of the offer, if the change is made within the first 12 months;

  • from the 13th month, if the change is made after the first 12 months.

For example, if after six months from subscribing to the “S” plan you request to switch to the “M” plan, the new monthly fee will apply starting from the first bill issued after your request. Additionally, you will be charged the difference between the new monthly fee and the one applied for the previous five months.

Enel Energia reserves the right to propose a plan adjustment at any time if significant discrepancies in consumption are found compared to the plan initially chosen or modified.

What is not included in the fee?

The following items are not included in the fixed monthly fee (but will in any case be specifically detailed on the bill): optional charges, automatic compensations, RAI fee, late payment interest, any Social Bonus the customer may be entitled to, and other additional bonuses and/or discounts.

How often do I receive a bill?

Monthly.

How does withdrawal from Enel Energia work?

You can withdraw from your contract with Enel Energia at any time and without any charge by choosing a new Supplier, who will complete the withdrawal process on your behalf and in your name, in accordance with the procedures laid down by the regulations in force.

For further information, please consult the PDF of the "General Terms and Conditions of Supply".

What is the cooling-off period and how does it work?

You can exercise your right to change your mind, prior to contract activation without giving reasons and without any additional charges, up to fourteen days after conclusion of the contract. This period is extended to thirty days for contracts concluded through agents or agencies.

To request the application of the right to change your mind, send the relevant form, which you will find attached to the contract, to one of our contact channels. For energy and/or gas supply only, you can do this through a simple recorded telephone call to our toll-free number 800 900 860.

If, when signing the contract, you choose early activation of the supply, the activation time may be reduced and it will no longer be possible to exercise the right to change your mind once the relevant supply has commenced or once the new conditions of the new contract have been applied (in the case of a product change with Enel Energia).

Important: In the event of a product change, the right to change your mind can only be applied in writing.
