Since April 2025, Enel Energy Bar has been bringing a concrete opportunity to Italian territories to talk about Energy in a simple and direct way. One year after its launch, it is time to tell what happened, what people asked and why this type of meeting continues to make sense.

What is Enel Energy Bar?

Energy Bar is a program of training and in-depth meetings that Enel organizes directly in selected Spazi Enel and Spazi Enel Partner throughout Italy. The format is designed to be accessible: no registration obligation, no insider language, but real conversations on topics that concern the daily life of those who have a bill to pay, a home to heat or simply want to understand how the Energy market works.

The project stems from a precise idea: closeness to customers is not measured only in contracts or apps, but also in the quality of dialogue. Energy Bar is the place where Energy is told, understood and experienced.

What is discussed: the topics that matter

Energy Bar meetings do not follow a rigid script, but are structured around a precise thematic core, made up of questions that people really ask themselves.

The main topics addressed over the year were:

Conscious consumption

How to understand your Energy behaviours and reduce waste.

Energy efficiency and sustainability

What solutions are available to make homes and businesses more efficient.

Photovoltaic and self-consumption

How it works, when it is worthwhile, what to know before choosing.

Flexibility and smart offers

How to find your way among the different tariff options.

Bill reading

How to interpret the items and understand what you are paying for.

Fraud prevention

How to recognize fraud attempts in the Energy sector and how to defend yourself.

On this last point, awareness-raising work has played a significant role. Scams in the Energy sector remain a widespread phenomenon, and the possibility of addressing the topic in a trusted context, with experts available to answer questions, represents a value that is difficult to replicate through other channels.

What has this first year taught us?

One year of activity brings with it some field observations that emerged from the direct experience of the meetings.

The first is that people want to understand, not just buy. When an authentic space for dialogue on Energy is offered, there is a response. The 213 hours of meetings were not hours of silence: they were hours of questions, discussion and curiosity.

The second is that direct contact builds trust. In a sector often perceived as opaque or complex, the physical presence of someone willing to explain makes the difference.

The third is that territories respond. From the first stop to the last, involvement confirmed that interest in Energy issues is not the prerogative of those who are already familiar with the sector.

The first year in numbers

The data from the first year of activity tell a story of constant growth. In the 2025-2026 period, Energy Bar recorded:

  • 142 sessions organized;

  • over 1,000 participants involved;

  • 213 hours dedicated to meetings;

  • 40 cities reached;

  • 16 regions covered.

In just one year, Energy Bar transformed Energy from an abstract concept into a concrete experience for thousands of people. Not an advertising campaign, but a path of listening and training distributed throughout the national territory.

A project that crosses Italy

One of the most significant elements of Energy Bar is its geographical distribution. The program did not focus only on the large cities of the North or the most populated provincial capitals: 16 regions involved means that the initiative reached very different contexts, from metropolitan areas to medium-sized centres, with an explicit focus on capillarity.

Talking about Energy in the territories means meeting people with very different needs, consumption habits and degrees of familiarity with the topic. And it is precisely this variety that makes the meetings useful: there is no homogeneous audience, and the Energy Bar format is built to adapt.

Frequently asked questions

Are Energy Bar meetings free of charge?

Yes, the meetings are open and free of charge. The program is designed to be accessible to all people who want to explore Energy topics without registration constraints or costs.

How can I know when Energy Bar will arrive in my city?

For information on the next stops, you can follow Enel’s official channels and the dedicated page. The program is continuously expanding and includes new cities in its second year of activity.

How are the topics discussed in the meetings chosen?

The topics revolve around the most frequent questions people ask about the world of Energy: bills, consumption, Photovoltaic, scams, offers. The selection reflects the real needs gathered across the territory during the meetings.

How is an Energy Bar meeting structured? What happens in concrete terms?

The meetings have a conversational and open atmosphere, with the direct involvement of Enel professionals. They do not follow the logic of a frontal lesson: interactive exchange is preferred, allowing participants to ask questions and receive answers tailored to their situation.
