Digital Control Room

Finally, it is now possible to view, for example, charging stations, street lights, video surveillance cameras, sensors in the area, and much more, all on a single, comprehensive map!

Thanks to the new Digital Control Room, there is now a single integrated view incorporating all active infrastructures in the area. 

By browsing the interactive map, it is possible to view all installed assets and filter them by key dimensions, such as different service areas or current maintenance status. This offers multiple advantages for the administration, from the constant monitoring of the performance of its installations, to the now concrete and tangible possibility of optimising maintenance.

Monitoring Dashboard

Real-time viewing of infrastructure status is important, but how can we also understand real performance over time or, for example, the impact of services on environmental sustainability? 

All this is now possible thanks to the new monitoring dashboard on Enel YoUrban. A variety of indicators and data are made available on the various service areas, allowing the administration to have historical trends, future projections, and detailed analyses of both the operational performance of the infrastructure and the benefits generated for the environment. 

A concrete example? The KPI on the CO₂ saved will allow the administration to understand the positive impact on the environment through, for example, the charging infrastructure network installed on its urban perimeter, according to certified methods and algorithms in line with current standards.

Open Data Indices

Enel is constantly working to apply the latest technologies and innovations to the service of public administrations, collaborating with an extensive network of startups and universities. In the Open Data section of Enel YoUrban, new data and analyses developed free of charge are constantly being made available to offer a rapid response to the needs and challenges of our cities. 

Currently available are the innovative Circular City Index, 15-Minute City Index and CO₂ City Index, three indices calculated exclusively using Open Data, which allow all Italian cities to assess, free of charge, how well they are positioned on the criteria of circular economy, quality of life for their citizens, and CO₂ emissions in their municipality, according to publicly available data. This is certainly a fundamental starting point on the path of constant improvement towards the sustainability of our cities.
