*The price refers exclusively to the Power price (excluding VAT and taxes) and is stable and secure for the first 24 months. This price includes network losses, which are applied as defined, published and updated by ARERA.

**The price refers to the fixed Power charge, which, for the first 24 months of supply, will be €252/POD/year (excluding VAT and taxes), payable monthly.

Enel Energia’s Enel X Way Waybox is provided on a free loan-for-use basis, with installation within 10 metres included. In the event of withdrawal from the Power contract, the customer must pay the disinstallation cost or the residual cost of the Enel X Way Waybox.

Conditions valid until 28/07/2026, unless extended.

What exactly does the Enel Drive Luce offer include, and how can I subscribe to it?

The Enel Drive Luce offer includes: 

  • An Enel Energia Power offer reserved for residential customers.
  • A Waybox home charging station provided on a free loan-for-use basis, subject to a successful site inspection, with installation within 10 metres included for the entire duration of the Power contract with Enel Energia (any additional work will be charged to the consumer).
How will the Waybox provided on a free loan-for-use basis be installed?

Once you have signed the Enel Drive Luce contract with Enel Energia, an Enel Energia operator will contact you to schedule the site inspection required to install the Waybox home charging station at the same supply address as the Enel Drive Luce offer. Following a successful inspection, the Waybox will be installed within 10 metres of the meter. For installations beyond 10 metres, any additional costs will be estimated by the contractor during the site inspection.

When will the site inspection for the Waybox installation be carried out?

The site inspection appointment date can only be agreed after the Enel Energia Enel Drive Luce supply has been activated. If you are switching from a supplier other than Enel Energia or requesting a new connection with first-time activation, the supply activation may take up to 3 months from the date on which you subscribe to the offer.

What happens to my Waybox provided on a free loan-for-use basis if I withdraw from the Power contract?

The free loan-for-use arrangement for the Waybox home charging station will automatically end in the event of withdrawal from and/or termination of the supply contract with Enel Energia. 

 

The cost of uninstalling the Waybox is €305 (VAT included). The customer may choose to pay this amount in a single payment or request payment in up to 36 instalments. Alternatively, the customer may purchase the Waybox by paying an amount equal to its residual value. This amount will be determined when the customer exercises the right to withdraw from the supply contract, with the option to request payment in up to 36 instalments.

What is required to install the Waybox?

To install a Waybox, you must have a privately owned parking area available for your car (for example, a carport, garage or parking space). During the site inspection, the contractor appointed by Enel Energia will verify the technical feasibility of the installation. 

 

The Waybox will be delivered and installed at the address indicated by the Customer in the supply contract.

What is the Waybox home charging station used for, and how does it work?

The Waybox is an essential device for charging an electric car, designed to provide a safe and efficient home charging point, ensuring faster charging times than a standard domestic socket. Once installed, you will be able to manage charging through the Enel On Your Way App: after registering, you can connect directly to your Waybox in just a few simple steps. The App allows you to manage, monitor and schedule home charging sessions, as well as check Energy consumption.

To start charging, simply connect the Waybox cable to your vehicle, while to stop charging, simply disconnect it. The Waybox also offers advanced features, such as smart charging management, making the entire process simple and safe.
