As of 1 January 2025, the PUN was replaced by the PUN Index GME , which is the weighted average of electricity prices in the different areas of Italy, taking into account the quantity of energy sold and the time of use.

For more information, see the PUN page.

The offer includes a price consisting of

  • The energy component (PUN Index GME + α) where :

    • PUN Index GME is equal to the Single National Price differentiated by the time bands, indicated below, defined on a monthly basis, which corresponds to the monthly arithmetic average values of the PUN Index GME, expressed in Euro/kWh, as determined by the Gestore dei Mercati Energetici (GME) and published on the GME website, and which will be increased by the grid losses applied as defined, published and updated by ARERA.

      The price of the energy component is differentiated for the following bands:

      F1 band: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays
      Band F2: 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturdays, excluding national holidays

      Please refer to the Technical and Economic Conditions for more information on how to process measurements from sampling points.

    • consumption fee (α), excluding VAT and taxes and including grid losses, locked in for the first 12 months, which will be added to the price of the energy component (equal to the GME PUN Index) as described above and which is representative of the costs of raw material expenditure not covered by the GME PUN Index. Network losses will be applied as defined, published and updated by ARERA;

  • a marketing and sales fee (also called CCV Power) of €60 /POD/year, excluding VAT and taxes, to be paid on a monthly basis. This fee is fixed for 12 months from the date of activation of the supply (referred to in Art. 2 of the General Conditions of Supply, hereinafter GTC).

The price of the energy component (PUN Index GME + α), excluding VAT and taxes, represents about 54% of the total energy expenditure (excluding VAT and taxes) of a non-domestic customer with an annual consumption of 10000 kWh and an installed power of 10 kW.

The remaining cost components (dispatching fee, fee to cover the net capacity supply charge, an imbalance component equal to 1% of the Single National Price (PUN Index GME), costs for the transport service and meter management, system charges) are applied as defined, published and periodically updated by ARERA and as indicated in the Technical and Economic Conditions of the offer (CTE) and in the General Conditions of Supply (GTC). At the end of the validity period of the aforementioned fees, Enel Energia may communicate the new values of the fees. This communication will be sent in the manner and time schedule provided for in Art. 3.2. of the GTC.

For more details see the percentage costs in your bill.

How is the security deposit calculated?

The security deposit, which will be refunded to you in the last balance bill, is calculated on the basis of the power of your meter. In particular, a unit amount equal to:
