What it is
Facility Parco Agrisolare is a PNRR measure proposed by MASAF (Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry) to encourage investments by businesses in the agricultural, livestock and agro-industrial sectors in modernization, Energy efficiency improvement and Renewable energy production interventions through the installation of Photovoltaic systems on the roofs of buildings used for production purposes.
How it works and what the measure provides
The grant may be requested by agricultural entrepreneurs (either individual or corporate), agro-industrial companies, agricultural cooperatives and consortia, as well as all the aforementioned entities established in aggregated form through temporary business associations (A.T.I.), temporary business groupings (R.T.I.), business networks and Renewable Energy Communities (RECs). Approved projects must be completed within 18 months from the date the funding is granted.
Which interventions are eligible
The Facility Parco Agrisolare measure finances projects that include the installation of Photovoltaic systems and, in addition, the installation of electricity storage systems, electric charging devices for Sustainable mobility and complementary interventions aimed at the redevelopment and/or Energy efficiency improvement of the buildings concerned. In any case, expenses must refer to newly built systems.
The grant covers expenses for the installation of new Photovoltaic systems on the roofs of agricultural buildings (including agritourism facilities) with a total peak power between 6 kWp and 1,000 kWp, produced by companies registered in the ENEA Photovoltaic Module Register (Category A, B or C).
Maximum Eligible Expenditure: the payable grant is €1,000/kWp for Category A modules and €1,500/kWh for Category B or C modules. The total expenditure for Photovoltaic systems may not exceed €1,500,000 in any case.
In addition to the grant for the Photovoltaic system, it is possible to request an additional grant to cover the purchase and installation costs of electricity storage systems (BESS).
Maximum Eligible Expenditure: a maximum grant of €700 for each kWh of storage system capacity is provided, with an overall expenditure limit not exceeding €50,000.
It is possible to obtain a grant to cover the purchase and installation costs of charging devices for electric vehicles.
Maximum Eligible Expenditure: the maximum grant payable for this intervention is €10,000.
In addition to the installation of the Photovoltaic system, you can request a grant for one or more building and Energy redevelopment interventions on the roof where the system is installed.
The eligible interventions are:
- Removal and disposal of asbestos/eternit from the roof.
- Installation of roof thermal insulation.
- Installation of a ventilation system connected to roof replacement (such as an air gap).
Maximum Eligible Expenditure: the maximum grant payable for complementary interventions may not exceed €700,000 in any case.
