If you have signed up for a new Enel Energia supply, you can log into your Customer Area to check the activation status. Doing so is very easy: log into the Customer Area and from the homepage click on the menu item Requests Status and then on Contracts. A new page will open with the activation status of the new Enel Energia supply. By clicking on the individual offer, a detail tab will open with the date of submission of the request, the name of the offer signed and the price of the energy component or gas raw material.

The free energy and gas market differs from the protected market in the financial terms offered to users.
The electricity or gas offers for the free market consist of an energy component or the gas raw material at a fixed price established directly by Enel Energia. In the enhanced protection service, on the other hand, all the items which contribute to the tariff are established by ARERA.

The social bonus is a subsidy on the bill introduced by the Government to help families in difficulty due to economic or physical hardship (in cases where a serious illness requires the use of electrically powered medical equipment).
With Enel Energia you can defer payment of a bill by entering the Customer Area or by contacting Customer Service. You can deactivate the electricity and gas supply from the Enel Energia customer area, at a Punto Enel or by calling the toll-free number 800900860 from Italy or +39 0664511012 from abroad, for a fee at the cost applied by your telephone operator. Deactivation of the supply will result in the meter being closed and the contract will be terminated. If your metered contracted power is insufficient for your consumption needs, you can request a change directly from the Enel Energia customer area. The procedure is very simple and you will immediately receive a cost estimate. This facility is only available for residential customers.
